My Portfolio

Richard Guy

For over 40 years, I have been training Operating Engineers, from hands-on instruction for apprentices, to Cogeneration operations, to Critical Systems Training, to certifying Data Center operators.

The field of Stationary Engineering has many different aspects, depending on the facility, equipment, and end use. That’s where my wide range of personal experience is beneficial to my students.

Starting with four years as a Boiler Technician with the US Navy, I attended BT “A” school, Betz Boiler water/Feedwater school and Engineering School Ship.

Over the next several decades I have served as a Plant Manager at a Cogeneration Plant, Supervisor of a Super Critical Coal Plant, Utilities Manager of one of Dupont’s largest plants, and was Chief Engineer over several Power Plants.

So  whether you need instruction in ammonia refrigeration, critical systems, gas turbines or any other aspect of plant operations, I can help you achieve the next step in your career.
